Where your GIF actually goes when you click download
This is worth being upfront about, because it's the whole reason we call it a private downloader instead of just a downloader.
- Your browser talks directly to the site that hosts the GIF — Crestexa's servers are never in that path.
- There's no account, so there's nothing tying a download to your identity or your email address.
- If a source actively blocks cross-origin requests (a browser security rule called CORS), we can't force it — you'll get a direct link to open and save it yourself instead.
- We don't log which links you've fetched, and we can't, because the request never routes through us.
